Usedom sehen – und sich verlieben Jasmin besucht ihre beste Freundin Gabi, die nach Usedom gezogen ist. Erstens haben sich die beiden Frauen versprochen, sich mindestens einmal im Jahr zu sehen. Und zweitens ist Jasmin Malerin und will einen Bilderzyklus erstellen, der die Sagen Usedoms zum Thema hat. Ihr erstes Ziel ist Lüttenort, wo sie das Atelier des Malers Otto Niemeyer-Holstein besichtigen will. Sie kommt gerade rechtzeitig, um noch an einer Führung teilzunehmen. Nicht nur sie, sondern ein Mann, der offenbar auch allein ist, schließt sich der Führung in letzter Sekunde an. Bei Koserow soll Störtebeker mit seinen Männern ein Versteck gehabt haben. Zwar glaubt Jasmin nicht daran, Spuren der berühmten Freibeuter zu finden, trotzdem sucht sie nach einem Motiv, das etwas mit Piraten zu tun haben könnte. Sie findet nicht nur einen perfekten Platz, an dem sie malen kann, sondern trifft auch den geheimnisvollen Mann aus dem Atelier wieder. Ein interessanter Typ, findet sie. Fortan scheint sie der seltsame Fremde nicht mehr aus den Augen zu lassen. Ob in Peenemünde oder Bansin – immer ist er in ihrer Nähe. Sie flirten sogar ein wenig, ohne dass er ihr seinen Namen verrät, Dann erfährt Jasmin, dass ein Kunstdieb auf der Insel sein Unwesen treibt – und ihr kommt ein schrecklicher Verdacht. Eine amüsante literarische Reise über eine der schönsten Inseln Deutschlands.
