Im Sturm stürzt Adam von einer Klippe - und wird von einem seltsamen Typen gerettet: Magnus, ein kleinwüchsiger, etwas verlotterter Mittzwanziger in Wollklamotten. Der behauptet, ein waschechter Troll zu sein - in dessen Schuld Adam nun steht. Was in Island so viel heißt wie: Magnus genießt Sonderrechte, und Adam wird ihn nicht wieder los, auch nicht bei der Rückreise nach Berlin. Dort versucht Adam, sein Leben aufzuräumen, doch der anarchische Magnus stürzt es immer tiefer ins Chaos.
