April 1944 durch Freitod der Verurteilung durch den Volksgerichtshof. Er hinterließ seine Ehefrau mit dem kleinen Sohn Christian. Die bis heute unverändert beliebten und bewunderten Bildgeschichten hat die Verfasserin mit eigenen Versen versehen.
