Dabei berücksichtigt sie insbesondere die Revolutionen in Frankreich und Amerika. Während die eine in eine Katastrophe mündete und zu einem Wendepunkt der Geschichte wurde, war die andere ein triumphaler Erfolg und blieb doch eine lokale Angelegenheit. Aber warum?
